This
page shows how to remove a YYJ bearing using an ordinary electrician’s
tool. This tool is cheap, easily
found in most hardware departments or hardware stores, and very
effective. If you (or a family
member) are handy, you might just have one around the house. This works for both large and small YYJ
bearings. |

Here’s
a tool that is really great for untangling and unknotting your string without
taking apart your yo. It is also
great for removing shims from your YYJ yo.
The tool is cheap, available in the Wal-Mart pharmacy/ toothbrush
section (or your favorite pharmacy).
It is small enough to carry around in your pocket, on your backpack,
in your yo case, or wherever. I carry
mine everywhere. |
