(Trick created by Gary Longoria)
Okay, you start off with a bucket. Swing the yo-yo out of the bucket.
Intercept the string of the yo-yo when it comes toward you with your left index
finger. Your right hand should have a loop in the form of a V before the yo-yo
comes around. Anyway, land the yo-yo back into the bucket. Land it on the right
loop of string of your left index finger and also the string below. So you have
to kind of align the two strings before so the yo-yo can land on both. Drop the
loop off your thumb immediately afterwards. This loop has a tendency to get in
the groove of the yo-yo. Make sure this does not happen. The loop goes on the
right side of the yo-yo when I drop it. If you got everything right so far you
should have string wrapped around your left index finger. Now pop the yo-yo into
the air while releasing the only loop off your left index finger. Pretty easy to
see from the video at Sector Y. After that, the yo-yo lands on the single string
and the loop on your right index finger should be twisted. Get your hands
together while moving your wrists in, like the how he did it, and pull on the
string. After this you should have a string formation that looks like an
inverted triangle with an extra string segment on the bottom left. Pop the yo-yo
up onto the top string. Do not change the position of your left hand. It always
points sideways toward your right hand after you pop up the yo-yo. The yo-yo
should land on the single string and then drop behind the remaining cross
string. You should have a twisted loop on you left index finger. Untwist it. Now
you’re at the end of the trick; which is the best part of the trick, IMHO –
it’s a sidestyle Ripcord. Do a couple of dunks and drop the loop on your left
index finger while the yo-yo is about to land on the second dunk and you’ll
have a trapeze!!!
