(Trick created by Paul Escolar)
This trick starts out with a variation on the wrist
mount…the yo-yo will go around your left thumb, right wrist, and left index
finger. Now, there are three strings running between your hands. There’s a
back string ( the one closest to your body ) and two front strings. From an
overhead view, these two front strings form an X of sorts. You want to land the
yo-yo on both strings, in the middle of the X. Then drop the string off of your
thumb.
Swing the yo-yo around your right hand in a clockwise
direction. It will come to rest between/below your hands. Reverse that move
and land it back on the string. Slide the string that’s on your wrist onto
your right index finger. You’re now in a sidestyle Mach 5. Pop the yo-yo up in
the air and cross your hands, right over left. Intercept the string with your
right index finger ( don’t worry, there’s really only one string for you to
intercept ). Land the yo-yo on the bottom string ( again, the only one string
there ). The hold you’re in now is just like after the first pop-up from
Kwyjibo, so it will look familiar. It’s also the mount for Pure 143. Okay, do
an underpass with your left index finger, uncrossing your hands in the process.
Dunk the yo-yo around your right index finger in a counterclockwise direction,
landing on the string so that you’re back a sidestyle Mach 5. Do the pop-up
again and dismount as desired.
