(Trick created by Spencer Berry) The mount is very similar to a Triple or Nothing. The yo-yo will go around your right thumb, left index, right middle, left index, right index and land on the front string. From the mount, you are basically going to do the first hop of Kamikaze ( houdini drop hold to sidestyle Mach 5 )…sooooo, pop the yo-yo up into the front/top string and drop the loop of string off your right middle finger. You should sorta have a Mach 5 with a string going around your right thumb. Anywho, pop the yo-yo up again ( for effect ) and drop the string off of your left index finger. You will end up in a houdini drop hold, only mutated ( like a mindbend ). This next part is when the yo-yo goes around your arm for the first time. Pop the yo-yo around your right hand in a clockwise direction and cross your hands. This move will "un-mutate" everything. Bring the yo-yo around your arm as seen in the video(s) of Rancid Milk. Now…pop the yo-yo up in the air and land it on the front string. With a simple twist of your right index finger, you will be in a houdini drop hold. Do the first hop of Kamikaze ( if you don’t know how, go to Sector Y ). Next, swing the yo-yo around your left hand in a counterclockwise direction, just as you would for Kamikaze, but don’t roll into a Double or Nothing. Instead, you are going to do a pop-up. Pop the yo-yo into the air and intercept the string with your right index finger; landing a Double or Nothing. I hope all of this has made sense so far. Drop the back string off of your right index finger and pluck it/hold it in place with your right thumb. Now do the first underpass of Cold Fusion. Your arms should be crossed afterwards. Mmmk, this next part of the trick is very difficult to explain. You should have a triangle-ish formation with one string running down the middle. You are going to sorta "pluck" this string with your left index finger. There is already a string on your left index, and as you do the pluck, this string will fall off. Also, you need to drop the string off of your ( right ) thumb. Your arms are still crossed. The string formation will no longer look like a triangle, but it should look like a heart. Aight, bring the yo-yo around your left arm. Now you’re going to do a dunk type move, making the yo-yo go around your right hand and landing a Mach 5-ish thing. Straighten out your left hand. From here, you are basically going to do the Red Clover pop-up. Illustrations for that move can be found here. Just transfer the concept to the Rancid Milk hold. Here’s a tip…the string you grab with your right thumb during the pop-up…separate it from everything else with your left thumb. After the pop-up, you need to drop the string off your right thumb. There is a loop of string on your left index finger. Use your left index finger and left thumb to open up this loop into a triangle. Now you’re gonna do an underpass type move with your right index finger…as the yo-yo goes around your right hand in a clockwise direction, thread the string through it. Okay, there should be a fairly large opening in the top of your new string formation. Pop the yo-yo up through this opening and drop everything off of both hands. Then land a trapeze ( please tell me you knew that! ). That’s the end of Rancid Milk. Good luck!!! If any of this doesn’t make sense, download the video from PhalanX and it should help. |
