I am still a beginner at two-handed I guess; working on my vertical loops and stuff. I learned some basics with my ProYo IIs and then moved on to Raiders. Raiders were excellent - the only problem was that after a short while of play they began to become unresponsive. So I ordered a pair of Spintegas (glow Tornadoes modded Matt Harlow-style).

I was very disappointed with the original Tornadoes by Spintastics - well not *that* disappointed (I don't wanna sound like an evil freak) - but they looped downwards, and not being one for modding I didn't wanna have to try all this sanding and over tightening stuff. Plus, with mine they snapped at the base of the string very quickly.

So I got my Spintegas and - to my dismay - they did the same thing: looped downwards :-( However, they did sleep a considerable bit longer and were still good and responsive. So I put on some Dragon's Fire (yoyo grease, that James Appleby made back in the day) and tried again. There was a vast improvement; they didn't loop down as much and if I put a double loop around the axle they didn't loop down at all, but alas, at the cost of now having very little sleep time - and my raiders could do the same thing with 2 loops. Oh well.

You see I am a person for wanting to use a yoyo as it comes, and not have to do all this modding stuff...as when it comes to things like that I ain't very good. So as for how they come when you buy them I didn't find 'em as good as my Raiders. Though I am sure they are a lot better with modding - as non modding goes I wasn't very impressed (sorry Spintastics!). Although my friends down on the south coast will strongly disagree with me, I much prefer my own Raiders.
