Hold the yo-yo at shoulder level and make a muscle (elbow facing out).

Straighten your arm, and throw the yoyo out to your side like shown.

Allow the yoyo to swing to the non throwhand side of your body until the it gets to the hight of your opposite shoulder.

Give it a slight tug an catch it with your palm facing down.
