At the contest there will be 3 different divisions which players
can enter depending on their relevant skill level - these are:

| Sports Ladder | Single A | X Division |

- Sports Ladder -

The sports ladder consists of 25 tricks which are as follows:

Each player is given one life. They progress up the ladder one trick
at a time. If you miss a trick, that is your life lost.

You proceed to the next trick and keep going until you miss again,
on your second miss your level is recorded and your ladder run is finished.

Who ever proceeds furthest up the ladder wins!

 

- Single A -

In this division, each player performs a routine set to music
which can be upto 3 minutes in length.

The player is scored on difficulty and technical execution of tricks,
originality and performance which consists of choreography to
the music and use of stage space.

Players are given negative points for mistakes, loss of control,
missed binds and changing of yoyos.

Each entrant in Single A will be required to participate in the trick ladder.
This is so that we can use a players ladder score in the event of a tie.

 

- X Division -

The X Division once again consists of a freestyle to music up to
3 minutes in length, using any style of play except Single A.

This can therefore include AA, 3A, Offstring and Freehand.

There is no compulsory trick section for this division - anyone can enter.
