Description
A Christian begins with his eyes focused on God.  The devil tries to tempt him but cannot get through.  The skit takes a fatal turn when the man decides that what he is doing is more important than being concerned with God.  Satan seizes the opportunity and takes a fall in order to awaken pride in the man.  The devil them comes back at him with a vengeance.  After he has been defeated, the man remembers God and humbles himself.   The Lord hears his plea and protects him from further attack.  The devil flees.

Verses
James 4:6b-8a
God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.  Submit yourselves then to God.  Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  Come near to God and he will come near to you.

Ephesians 6:11-13 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

What's the point!
We use this skit to launch into several different discussions depending on our audience.  We often talk about the importance of acknowledging God in all things and relying on Him to keep your path strait.  We share how God hates the proud but lifts up the humble.  We also emphasize the importance of prayer and the Word in becoming humble and relying on God.
