This trick was created by the Off-String master Hironori Mii. It gives the illusion of the yo-yo sleeping at the end of the string while still being Off-String. The trick to getting this to work right is having your viper set to just the right gap size. If the gap is just a little bit too wide or narrow the yo-yo will either fall off the string or not sleep and return to you.
Step 1
| Start out this trick with a regular Off-String catch. | ![]() |

Grab the end of the string with your right hand. |
Step 3
| Now put your left index finger in the loop and swing the yo-yo around back behind your right hand. | ![]() |

Continue to let it swing around and make sure the string DOSN'T catch at all on your right index finger. |

| Now let the yo-yo swing up over your left index finger> | ![]() |

Now land the yo-yo on the highlighted string. |

| Let go of the yellow string for the yo-yo to go into the magic sleeper. | ![]() |

Slide the string off your left index finger and gently pull it back for the yo-yo to return. You will now be able to cotinue your regular Off-STring play. |
