to make this trick look good, you let the yo-yo ride up on the sides of the string when you pop it up into the air so that it looks like it is launching off a jump.

Step 1

Start out this trick with a regular Off-String catch. To learn all of the mounts used on this site go to Ken's World On A String.

Step 2

After catching the yo-yo bring it in front of you like shown. Let the yo-yo slide up the left side of the string and hop up into the air.

Step 3

After the yo-yo is in the air let it ride down the left side of the string, over to the right side.

Step 4

Now let the yo-yo ride up the left side of the string and hop into the air(you are now just doing the exact opposite of what you did on the other side of the string).

Step 5

Land the yo-yo back onto the string and go back into Step 2. Repeat steps 2 - 5 as many times as you can. If you wan't you can end it with a whip catch.
