This trick was created by the Spikeyhairedfreak and involves the illusion of the yo-yo disappearing behind your hand. These illustrations are kind of sketchy but I think you will be able to figure them out. I'd suggest that you watch the video on Sector Y first before trying to learn this trick so that you get a better feel of what you are suppose to do.

Step 1

You start this trick out with a modified Houdini's drop mount. Begin as if you were throwing a double or nothing but catch the first string on your left thumb instead of your index finger. The yo-yo will now fall over both your right thumb and index finger.

Step 2

The yo-yo will continue to travel around and hop over your left index finger.

Step 3

Land the yo-yo on the highlighted string.

Step 4

Drop the string off your right thumb.

Step 5

You are now going to do Spikey's magic drop. Swing the yo-yo up over your right index finger.

Step 6

Land the yo-yo on only the string furthest away from you.

Step 7

Turn your right hand sideways so that your palm is facing toward you. If you did that last part correctly it should look something like this. Now just make a simple underpass with your left hand.

Step 8

Pull your hands apart to pop the yo-yo up to the left side of the top string.

Step 9

While the yo-yo is still in the air bring your right hand back and your left hand forward.

Step 10

Land the yo-yo on the highlighted string and you should be in the trapeze position with the string still looped around your right thumb.

Step 11

Changing views now let the yo-yo slide down and rest on the highlighted string that runs between where it is tied to your middle finger and your right thumb.

Step 12

You can now let the string fall off of your left hand and let it just hang down in front of your right hand. To finish off this trick wave your free left hand in front of your right making it look like you are magically bringing the yo-yo back to life. Right after waving your left hand shoot the yo-yo up into the air and it will come back down and return to your hand.
